Charity of the Year for 2011 is Help
For Heroes.
Even with the massive downturn in the economy and the tightening
of belts, we were amazed at how Staff, Suppliers, and Clients
all pulled together and raised an amazing £5,600 for
Help For Heroes.
The year was rounded off with the Annual Charity Bash which
had free food, free entertainment, not so free beer, and
definitely not free raffle tickets and auction!
Our thanks go out to everyone involved

CDP “Help for Heroes” Sporting
Legend Evening
CDP Print Management organised a successful
Sporting Legend Evening in aid of Help for Heroes.
The football
legend Tommy Smith MBE gave an entertaining
presentation on his years playing top class football for
Liverpool FC. After a total of 638 games and winning 22 medals,
his uncompromising defence style earned him the accolade
from Bill Shankly: “Tommy Smith wasn’t born,
he was quarried!”

Tommy is pictured presenting the cheque with Graham Duncan,
Logistics Manager CDP.
The top raffle prize was a specially signed shirt from the
Liverpool squads who won a record 4 European Cups.
A special mention goes to Irene Maculay and Tony Miller
who sold the most door entrance & raffle tickets before
and during the evening. They are pictured with Paul Scanlon,
Chairman CDP.

The evening raised £1,605 for Help for Heroes.
