Most of the wood goes directly to the pulpmill.

The wood is sawn into suitable lengths and then debarked.

The debarking is done in a rotating drum. Then the bark that has been taken off the logs is burnt to produce energy.

The wood is then chopped into small chips. Some of the wood - timber is turned into sawn timber products and waste from the sawmills is recycled back into the pulp production process
