Pritchett - Wyeth Project
Pritchett are known in over 100,000 organizations and by
some 12,000,000 employees worldwide, for the advice and support
they offer on Change Management. Their consulting services
and training programmes have evolved over three decades from
the pioneering work they have performed in the area of merger
integration.
Following the recent announcement of the acquisition by
Pfizer of Wyeth, a global Pharmaceutical Company, Wyeth commissioned
PRITCHETT to develop a training programme which required
the production and worldwide distribution of training materials.
Pritchett discussed the requirements with CDP for printing,
binding and distribution of training materials in over 15
languages for the European, South African, Indian, & Pakistan
locations of Wyeth. Pritchett required a seamless end-to-end
service that started with them issuing the PDF files of the
training materials, and resulted in the delivery of printed
and bound booklets in the required language, style and quantity
to the customer locations. Because the world wide training
programme was time sensitive, the majority of training materials
had to be delivered within 7 days from receiving artwork.
CDP discussed several options; however the most economical
production method was for CDP to produce the manuals internally.
For this process, the staff at CDP were able to utilise a
number of colour digital printers to produce the manuals,
and a specialised wire-o binding machine to finish the booklets.
